Janell, a pillar of our community, has been diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. Janell is presently undergoing daily treatments, which are undoubtedly challenging for her and her family. She is a dedicated advocate for community service, devoting herself to the betterment of O'Fallon and its neighboring areas. She never hesitates to support individuals and organizations in need. Her generosity makes this situation all the more difficult and distressing. Janell's son, Collin, is an active member of the Southern Illinois IceHawks and O'Fallon High School hockey teams. Her daughter is a competitive dancer, and her husband, Ryan, shares Janell's passion for community service. They are always there to lend a helping hand, and we are certain the community will support them in return. Our board at DAWG Nation has approved a 3-1 match per dollar DONATED up to $2,500.
Considering this unfortunate situation, the DAWG Nation Hockey Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit organization, is here to help. Recognizing the severity of Janell's circumstances, our board has unanimously approved a generous 3-to-1 matching program for every dollar donated, up to a maximum of $2,500.
DAWG Nation is committed to supporting members of our hockey community during times of crisis, and we do not charge any administrative fees. All funds raised beyond the matching amount will be directly provided to Janell and her family to help alleviate the financial burden they are facing.
We kindly request your support in contributing to this worthy cause and helping Janell and her family navigate this challenging time. Your generosity will make a significant difference in their lives.
